The very first journalism piece I ever produced as a freshman at Fordham University, chronicling a journey of healing and justice for the Harlem community after five Black and Latino teenagers were falsely accused and convicted of raping a Central Park jogger in 1989 in the infamous ‘Central Park Five’case.
